Minimalist, color field abstract panel constructions start as individual birch ply pieces colored, stained with oil, burnished and drawn upon, inspired by the people, buildings, trees, cars and eighteen wheelers that share our space throughout the day.

Later, those representative, disparate pieces are reconsidered and reimagined, and then constructed to create a new, sometimes harmonious, sometimes discordant assemblage of color, image and line.
